We love our church and we love to welcome anyone and everyone to join us!
We gather for worship at 9:30 on Sunday mornings! Our service is a “blended” form of both traditional and modern worship, so we sing both traditional hymns as well as contemporary praise songs. There is no special dress code at PLUMC – many people dress informally in jeans, khaki’s, etc., while others dress a bit more formally. What you wear is not important! What matters is that you join us for worship!
Children are always welcome to worship with us, and we have a variety of worship materials available for children. At the current time, children’s Sunday School is “on hold” due to Covid restrictions.
Holy Communion is normally celebrated on the 1st Sunday of each month. In the United Methodist Church, Communion is an open table and ALL are invited to participate and to receive the Sacrament – the only requirement is that you wish to become closer to our Lord! There are no age restrictions, so children are also invited to receive Communion along with their parents. At the current time, prepackaged Communion elements are being used due to Covid precautions.
RELAXING OF COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS AT PLUMC
Effective July 1, 2021, the following policies will be in effect at PLUMC for worship services, meetings & other indoor events (approved by Church Council on 6/29/21):
- Masks will be optional for those who are fully vaccinated. If you have not been fully vaccinated, please continue to protect yourself and others by wearing a mask in the sanctuary and other indoor spaces at PLUMC.
- Hymnals, Bibles, etc., will once again be located in the pew racks for your convenience. Singing during worship services is permitted.
- For the time being, please continue to place your Sunday offering in the plates located at the back of the sanctuary.
- We will be continuing to use pre-packaged Communion elements at this time.
Thank you for your patience and your cooperation!
We look forward to seeing you in worship!
Our mission statement says it all! We are “People Blessing People”! We hope to meet you this Sunday!
